Back from Rome with my mom and mother-in-law! Their first time in Italy, rightfully enjoyed with a little sightseeing, a good amount of pasta, some aperol, a ton of pizza, and a lot of wine. Didn't write any weeknotes this week, will get back on track next Monday :)

Back from Andalusia

A month ago I went to Andalusia. It was amazing, I visited castles, went to two fancy restaurants, took a million photos telling myself I would make an online gallery, maybe even print and frame a few... and I still haven't downloaded, edited or even looked at the images. It's a struggle! 📷🗺

A small bed & breakfast inland and a rented car to explore the island. One full week of Mallorca! 🗺️ This beach is called Cala Agulla and it really was as blue as it looks in the image. The view from...

Norway, summer 2016

The most beautiful country I've ever been to.

A river in Norway

We went wild camping in Norway in 2016. Wild summer, we got snow and 5ºC temperatures. This is one trip I'd love to do again!

Besalú

One of the prettiest pueblos I've ever been to: Besalú, Catalunya.

Tarragona

Those past two days have felt so cold here in Barcelona. Wishing I could go back one month to an incredibly warm day visiting Tarragona.

Castell de Xàtiva. Memories of a warm day when both my mom and my dog refused to climb all the way to the top of the mountain to get the best view of the castle.

Castell de Xàtiva

Throwback to enjoying summer with my mom and our little trip to Valencia! This is the Umbracle, a suspended park with palm trees and local flora, in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.

Loved visiting the medieval pueblo of Montblanc yesterday. So incredibly charming. Locals believe the famous fight between Saint George and the Dragon actually took place in the mountains surrounding the pueblo -- and absolutely NOT in Cappadocia, as we have all been wrongly led to believe. Beautiful red roses grew where the dragon blood was spilled, and this is why Catalans gift roses to each other on the day of Sant Jordi. So now you know it too.
