The view from the road

The view from the road, arriving in Sa Calobra! Mallorca, 2018.

Road to Sa Calobra, Mallorca

I haven't posted in almost two years. Things have changed. I have changed. I moved to another city. I changed careers! Photography became my hobby and I didn't know how to deal with it, with saying out loud "I'm not a photographer anymore, I'm a frontend developer now".

I don't want my photos to be forgotten inside my computer drive. I have so many beautiful images to share! That's why I'm back. This one is one of the beaches in Barcelona, July 2018, the good ol' pre-Covid times.

Norway, summer 2016

The most beautiful country I've ever been to.

A river in Norway

We went wild camping in Norway in 2016. Wild summer, we got snow and 5ΒΊC temperatures. This is one trip I'd love to do again!

Norway

I went to Barcelona for a photography workshop. Jaanus joined me for the weekend to celebrate his birthday. A friend casually commented, "wow, right now it's snowing in Stockholm, while we sit by the beach and drink beer". The seed of an idea, planted in our heads.

I had no idea then that we would end up moving to Barcelona, that I'd quit wedding photography, change careers. That we'd spend our summers AND our winters drinking beer and enjoying the sun by the beach.

Morocco is a place of contrasts. An unsuspecting door in a back alley opens up to a parallel universe of mosaics, carved wood and beauty. πŸ—ΊοΈ

I want to live in a little house like this!
